WORKSHOP PRESENTATIONS

Contributed Paper:

Each presentation is scheduled as a three-minute short presentation with three viewgraphs or less as well as a poster presentation for 90 min. For the short presentation, a conventional standard overhead projector, screen, pointer and microphone will be available. Each poster board will be approximately 90cm wide x 180cm high.
  • Print TITLE and authors in extra large characters across the top of your display.
  • Display your material in large print so that it may be read from a distance. It is important to use text and graphics larger and bolder than those in your manuscript!
  • Each presentation will be assigned a board and will be labeled with the number of the paper (e.g., M5.18).

Invited Paper:

Each invited paper is scheduled tentatively as a 30-minute presentation including questions, comments, and discussions. A conventional standard overhead projector, screen, pointer and microphone will be available.

LOCATION

Access from Narita Airport to Kofu

Narita (New Tokyo) International Airport is 80 kilometers northeast of Tokyo, and Kofu is 120 kilometers west of Tokyo. The Narita Limited Express (NfEX) of the Japan Railways (JR) is the fastest and most comfortable to go to Tokyo. This makes 23 runs a day in each direction. Trains from the airport go directly to the Tokyo station in one hour. All seats are reserved, and you will need to reserve one for yourself in advance at a JR ticket office.

Please transfer at Tokyo station for Shinjuku on Chuo Line (orange, JR trains are color-coded), which runs east to west. From Tokyo to Shinjuku, there are three stations (Kanda, Ochanomizu and Yotsuya stations). (Almost half of NfEX trains go directly from Narita Airport to Shinjuku through Tokyo. Although it takes 1.5 hours, it is much convenient for foreigners by taking these trains to go to Shinjuku.)

Please change the train at Shinjuku Station for Kofu. It takes about 1.5 hours from Shinjuku to Kofu by a limited express train (JR Chuo Line Limited Express). The names of JR Chuo Line Limited Express trains are Super Azusa, Azusa and Kaiji. Any limited express train stops at Kofu.

Access from Kofu station to Hotel and Meeting Place

From Kofu station to KOFU HOTEL (at which the participants lodge), it takes approximately 5 minutes on foot. BELLCLASSIC KOFU (where the workshop will be held) is very close to the hotel and it takes several minutes to BELLCLASSIC KOFU from the hotel on foot.
